Ciiircle: a circle with everything you need
Ciiircle gives any group that teaches or learns a circle with everything it needs: tasks with deadlines, hand-ins and grades with feedback, files, announcements, a calendar with attendance, chat, and an AI assistant called Neo. A centre, a teacher or a student makes a circle and shares its link, and everyone joins in one tap — and with several groups, each gets a circle inside it, which everyone in the outer circle can see and join. Every piece of real work a member does in their circles is written into their Academic Passport — a record that cannot be edited, which its owner chooses whether to share.

- Pinned announcements with replies, reactions and polls
- A shared calendar of sessions and deadlines, and attendance
- A chat per circle where an @mention notifies the person

- Four roles per circle: owner, admin, moderator and member
- Arabic and English, with a fully right-to-left interface in Arabic
What it does not do (yet)
- No video calls inside Ciiircle — you add the meeting link to an event.
- No app to install; it runs in the browser.
- Notifications are in the site only; there are no email notifications yet.
- PDF files open in a new tab rather than inside the page.
- Neo cannot read scanned PDFs or images; it reads files that contain typed text.
- No camera proctoring during a quiz.
- No payments or subscriptions, and no parent accounts.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly is Ciiircle?
A website that gives each group that teaches or learns one “circle” with everything it needs: tasks with deadlines, hand-ins and grades with feedback, files, announcements, a calendar, chat, and an AI assistant called Neo — instead of work scattered across a WhatsApp group, email and Drive folders.
Who is it for?
Learning centres, intensive courses, teachers, students and learning communities. Anyone can make a circle; nothing has to be installed. With several groups, each gets a circle inside yours.
How much does it cost?
You start free, and there is no paid plan today.
How do people join a circle?
The circle's owner shares its link (like ciiircle.com/?j=…) in the group chat, and anyone with it joins in one tap. If the owner wants to approve each person, the link sends a request instead, approved from the member list.
Can I collect and grade assignments with it?
Yes. A teacher or the circle's staff set a task with a deadline and points, a student hands it in with files or a link, and gets back a grade with written feedback, or a request to revise.
Who can create tasks and announcements?
The circle's owner and its staff (owner, admin, moderator). Any member can upload files, chat and hand in work.
What does Neo do, and what can it see?
Neo answers questions like “what's due for me this week?” from the circle's tasks, dates, announcements and recent chat, and opens its files to read what is inside (PDF, Word, PowerPoint) to explain, summarise or make practice questions. It sees only what you can see in the circle. For a teacher it drafts a quiz that is only created once they confirm, and reviewed before it is published. It remembers notes you ask it to, which you can see and delete. Each person has 100 questions a day.
Can I give an online quiz or test?
Yes. A quiz is a task in the circle with six question types: one right option, several right options, true or false, a short answer, a number, and an essay. All but the essay are graded automatically. You set when it opens and closes, its time limit, how many attempts, shuffle the questions, and give it to chosen students only.
Is there a phone app?
No. Ciiircle runs in the browser on phones and computers, and is built to work well on a phone.
Does it support Arabic?
Yes. Arabic is the primary language, with a fully right-to-left interface, and English is there too. You can switch at any time.
Does it have video calls or online lectures?
No. You can put a meeting link (Zoom, Meet or any other) on a calendar event, and people join from there.
What is the Academic Passport?
A record written automatically from your real work in your circles — a task handed in, handed in early, a session attended, a file published, a peer's recognition, and a missed deadline too — that no one can edit or delete, you included. It has a public page you decide whether to share.
Is it a Google Classroom alternative?
For many things yes, for some no. We wrote the comparison out, honestly, on the Google Classroom alternative page.
Try it with one group
